Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care delivery, managing staff effectively, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere for residents, their families, and our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the care home team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all aspects of resident care, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed, updated, and effectively implemented according to individual needs.
  • Manage recruitment, training, supervision, appraisal, and retention of staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill mix.
  • Ensure the home operates in full compliance with all relevant local regulations, legislation, and quality standards.
  • Manage the home’s budget effectively, overseeing expenditure and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and the local community.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safety of the building and grounds.
  • Handle complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
  • Promote the care home positively within the local community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Care Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a residential care setting (minimum [Number] years preferred).
  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of care standards, best practices, and relevant regulations in Bangladesh (or applicable standards).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with residents, families, and staff.
